All right. 

Finally time to start posting about Nippon Dojo and managing my very first Devlog!

The idea for this game came from my personal challenge almost every single year.

I have always had love for Japan, its culture and its language.
My great grandfather having hailed from the Nagasaki prefecture and my love for Anime and Japan MMORPGs incited me to start learning Japanese back in College. 

Like the old saying goes however, if you don't use it you lose it!

The challenge then for me arises when I am about to take another trip to Japan, or resume my Japanese studies. 
The first thing I do is start refreshing my memory on Hiragana and Katakana and it is always a drag, having to use index cards or boring internet websites. These learning styles are not truly engaging for me and I get bored pretty easily. 

Hence the creation of Nippon Dojo!

I decided to go the cute anime style story book like format to have my kids start learning as well! (Hopefully it works)Ab

Anyhow we are into one week of development as of today and I am quite excited this being my first solo indie game and all.
